The exact location of the station is uncertain. Cobb shows it located N of the branch goods terminus. This is supported by Railscot Spiersbridge webpage. RPSGB quotes contemporary statement that the branch "was to be worked by horses". If so, it was likely that the station would be little more than a stopping place with few, if any, facilities.
