CL - ?/10/1847; RO - ?/05/1850. ACD - Mon 28/10/1850 - exact closure date uncertain, but most likely same day as G&SWR opened its line through to Carlisle - RPSGB. CPLGB p56 gives 10/1850.
Exact location of the station is uncertain. Railscot website suggests it was located just beyond Templehill Jct. where the line joined from Lochgreen Jct. to the S, adjacent to the Portland Arms Hotel. Cobb does not show a passenger station.
