Further Notes
ACD - Fri 01/10/1852 - CPLGB p10; RPSGB. Line closed as a consequence of the opening of the through route to Banbury in 1850, though in the intervening period, through trains continued to use the old station and reverse prior to the completion of the new station on the main line.
See Local History in South Oxford webpage which gives an interesting, detailed account of this station, along with maps and drawings which confirm the exact location of this station, incidentally referred to as "Grandpoint".
