RM Mar 1966 The Horsham & Guildford Direct p128 states "...at Stammerham Junction, they left the main line on the up side on a sharp curve and headed north-westwards. Initially, a spur was provided which permitted through running from Guildford to Bognor and Brighton; this was never used by regular trains and is believed to have been removed about 1870".
I have included this section of line pending further research. Any information welcome.
