ACD - Fri 01/04/1870 - RPSGB. C; DRS give 01/04/1871. The Rhymney Railway OL9 OP 1995 p99 gives 02/05/1871. RPSGB specifically states that 01/04/1871 was the date from which all services to/from Caerphilly were diverted via the new line through Heath. Adam St. closed 01/04/1870 on the opening of Crockherbtown station.
