ACD - Mon 01/11/1880 - date based on article on Kent Rail website, Otford Junction, which states, "This double-track loop (Otford 'B' Jct. - Sevenoaks Jct.) came into use on 1st November 1880, which resulted in the closure of the interchange platform at Otford Junction and, somewhat surprisingly, the eventual lifting of the original northern part of the triangle".
