OCD - Mon 17/06/1889 - RPSGB. Date 3rd Lewes station opened.

The new station was brought into use from Mon 04/03/1889 with the 'southern half' giving access to the Brighton and Uckfield lines. The remainder, 'northern half' giving access to the London lines, was brought into use from Mon 17/06/1889.  Some sections of line listed here may well have been taken out of use at an earlier date.
