RM June 1901 p568: 'On May 15th, the spur line connecting the Cornwall line of the Great Western Railway with the Liskeard and Caradon Railway, at the former town, was opened for traffic, so that now the Liskeard and Caradon Railway is physically connected with the railway system of the country. The Liskeard and Caradon Railway was described and illustrated in the Railway Magazine for March, 1899'.
