Further Notes

ACD - Dec 1929 - exact date unknown. Replaced by deviation constructed due to erosion of the original line of route.

An article in RM Mar 1930 p202 gives a detailed description of the work but fails to mention an opening date. The North Eastern Railway Magazine (LNER) Mar 1930 p124 'Engineering Notes' outlines the work but again omits to state a specific date, noting "In December last there was completed a railway diversion between Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze".
