ACD - Mon 31/03/1930 - PNM 1980 p57. No Sunday service, LTR - Sat 29/03/1930.

*RCH L&CD 1933. Mileage from Garstang & Catteral station. SRS RailRef NW860 & KN001 shows Garstang Jct. as sited north of Garstang & Catteral station. It could have been that this was a notional junction at the point where the branch line physically diverged from the main line. However, track diagrams show the actual connection south of Garstang & Catteral station and the G&KER running parallel with the main line northwards to the point of divergence - The Garstang & Knott End Railway LP23 OP 1985 p38/9. Furthermore, RailRef KN001 also gives mileage from Garstang Junction to Knott End as 11m 29c whereas RCH L&CD 1933 shows junction additional 0m 4c south of station.
