Further Notes
ACD - Mon 04/12/1939 - PNM 1980 p40. No Sunday service, LTR - Sat 02/12/1939. Local service withdrawn and intermediate stations closed - Clinker & DRS. RPSGB gives "lost trains with start of LNE emergency tt 2 October 1939".
Used by SDS until LTR - Sat 17/06/1961?
BR (ER) 12 Jun - 10 Sep 1961 Table 52 shows the 8 50 am King's Norton - Skegness as calling at Derby (Friargate) on Sat 17/06/1961 only. After this it is not shown as calling anywhere between Egginton Junction and Sleaford, likewise the return working from Skegness. Did these trains use this section of line or run via Nottingham (Midland)? Again, access to the relevant WTT is needed, unless somebody has the answer!
