Track gauge 3ft.; 914mm.
ACD - Sun 16/06/1940. This is the date given in *The Isle of Man Railway Vol.3 J. Boyd OP 1996 p88. As no Sunday service was operating at the time this date should be Mon - 17/06/1940. Presumably LTR was Sat 15/06/1940.
Surprisingly, no mention of the closure of this line is made in the Historical Chronology in IoMR Vol.2. DSW gives 1943 as closure year, but this suggests an OCD as it refers to "Many of the advertised trains services" being replaced by bus from 1940.
