Information on this short section of line is patchy and inconsistent.
RHRGB Vol. 8 South and West Yorkshire p268 and OL19 (cited above) record the above dates for the section of line but not the stations. RPSGB records the stations CL 11/09/1939 only. DRS records both stations as RO 06/10/1946 and CL 17/03/1947. CPLGB and PNM 1980 make no reference to this line or its stations. I can find no reference to the line in RM.
The service appears in B1273 Aug 1939 (B1274 also?). Subsequent editions, including B1363 Mar 1947 701 show West Tinsley and Catcliffe stations in the table and the index, but no service is shown, nor is there any reference in the notes. Sometime between B1390 Jun 1949 (excl.) and B1405 Sep 1950 the stations disappear completely.
