Sunbeck Jct. (along with line from Sessay Wood Jct.) - Gilling (along with line to Scarborough Rd. Jct. and Malton East Jct.) used by summer Saturday trains between Glasgow, Edinburgh & Newcastle and Scarborough avoiding York until LTR - Sat 08/09/1962 - BLN 426 p176/5. Interesting to note that these trains appeared in the timetable as "via Gilling", though neither the station nor the line appeared in any table or on the network map.
Also line from Gilling - Kirkbymoorside (along with line from Malton East Jct. and Scarborough Rd. Jct.) used for excursions until LTR - Sun 03/05/1964 - DSW; RPSGB.
