*Wear Valley Jct. - Stanhope RO - Sun 22/05/1988 and an 'experimental service' from Bishop Auckland was operated on Summer Sundays until Sun 27/09/1992 inclusive. Train service was advertised variously as a footnote or, in the BR PT 11 May - 27 Sep 1992, actually appeared in full on Table 41.
