7 23am Ystrad Mynach - Neath (Riverside); 4 20pm Neath (Riverside) - Penarth were the two trains using the connection between Neath Jct. and Neath & Brecon Jct. Presumably these were provided as 'school specials', given their timings, and continued to run in some shape or form as untimetabled school specials until closure of the Vale of Neath line from 15/06/1964 - see Pontypool Rd. North Jct. - Neath Loop Jct.
Confirmation and/or any further information welcome.
N.B. Neath (Riverside) was briefly RN Neath (Bridge St.) from 01/07/1924 to 17/09/1926 - RPSGB.
