ACD - Mon 17/06/1963 Evesham (MR) - Ashchurch (excl.) - PNM 1980 p13. No Sunday service, LTR Sat 15/06/1963. 

The section of line between Redditch and Evesham was closed prematurely from Mon 01/10/1962 due to the poor condition of the track; a replacement bus service ran from this date until closure of the entire route to Ashchurch from Mon 17/06/1963. A train service continued to operate between Evesham (MR) and Ashchurch up to closure.

BLN 87 p117 gives a detailed account of the closure. DSW states "last train ran on 1.10.1962 then replaced by bus".
