BLN 18 and PNM 1980 p72 give ACD as Mon 23/11/1964. Presumably this was the original intended closure date, postponed for whatever reason - (possibly due to problems procuring replacement bus services? See Ruabon - Barmouth). Alterations supplement to the 1964-5 BR (LM) timetable for Table 86 confirm the closure date as 18/01/1965.
