LTR - Sun 10/09/1967 - BLN 93 08/11/67.
PNM 1980 p42 gives ACD - Mon 11/09/1967 with footnote "Cl 2/11/59, RO 17/4/60 for summer traffic only". RPSGB states "summers only from 2 November 1959 (also used for a few Sundays either side of strict summer tt); clo 11 September 1967".
On the basis of this information the ACD to RTS should be Mon 02/11/1959. Subsequently line open to SDS until LTR Sun 10/09/1967.
But.......
B1496 Nov 1958 E30 shows an undated RTS whereas B1499 Feb 1959 E30 shows Sunday service only, commencing 29/03/1959, which suggests the year-round RTS ceased sometime from Nov/Dec 1958. Subsequent timetables confirm SDS until final closure.
Pending further investigation or information coming to light, I'll stick with the SDS LTR closure date.
