Planned OCD for Gloucester (Eastgate) (excl.) - Tuffley Jct. was 06/10/1975 and trains calling at Eastgate were supposed to reverse. In practice trains continued to use the line to Tuffley Jct. until complete closure from 01/12/1975 - see BLN 286 p199.
